Openly:He's okay. For an indigo. Muralist has earned a grudging respect and toleration from Summoner, even to the point of being someone he'll go to for help. No other indigo, at all, gets to call him 'Brother'. Ever.

Secretly:Muralist has, somehow, managed to completely smash through Rufuss's hatred and bias against indigos and has become the only one that Rufuss will actively defend. A friend, even if the idiot bronzeblood flat refuses to actually admit it. Nor does he understand it, since Muralist had not only the issue of bloodcolor but also of being His alternate working against him.

Summoner does actually trust the man, if that comes with a healthy portion of Trusting a Makara to be a Makara. He is at least more stable and more tolerable than the one Summoner knew and killed. Summoner also genuinely hopes Muralist's universe will take a better course than his own did; he doesn't want to see this guy dead, and definitely not at the hands of his own kismesis.

Openly: he's trying to remember that indigo Chiron is still Chiron. It is very hard. He is scared shitless the indigo blood is going to change his moirail for the worse, that Chiron won't prove strong enough to resist it just like 'Flight wasn't, that he's going to lose his moirail to the indigo madness and the very idea has him so terrified he can't even think straight. Chiron is one of three people that Summoner's sanity almost depends on(the other two being Mindfang and Odessa), and losing any of them, seeing any of them become the thing he fears most is going to give him day terrors for a good perigee at least.

Secretly: ...No, there is no secretly here. He's scared shitless about this and he is incapable of hiding it.

Openly: He is so in love with Chiron it's ridiculous. If he thought he could get away with using the term 'materail' he probably would. Chiron is a full 40-50% of his world and woe betide anyone who upsets him.

Secretly: He is a jealous sonofabitch and wishes that it was him, not Tavros, held highest in Chiron's heart. He can't help the flashes of jealous insecurity every time Chiron gets with an alternate of his(or anyone else, to varying degrees), though he tries to hide it. Thing is, he can't bring himself to hate any of them because they make Chiron happy and that's his main priority and always will be. There is a part of him that is constantly afraid Chiron will see just how broken and worthless he is and leave him for someone better, even though he knows that's a stupid and baseless fear.

Openly: He tolerates Muralist, as the only Makara even approaching reasonable. He'll speak civilly with him and occasionally ask for help or advice when necessary.

Secretly: Summoner will never admit this to anyone save possibly Mindfang and/or Chiron, but he actually not only genuinely likes Muralist but trusts him and counts him as a friend. He tries to keep Muralist's views in mind and will be, if not respectful, at least civil about the man's religion. He'll also try to not upset him, as with this indigo heat M!A. He knows how his mind works in that situation and he knows Muralist hates the idea of anyone fearing him like that, so he will refuse to ask for Muralist's help just to avoid hurting the guy through something he genuinely can't help (Muralist is a G alter, after all, and Summoner would have been terrified. It would help if the facepaint came off, but he knows Muralist's views on that aspect of his religion and would never ask that of him either). If he didn't know Muralist wouldn't like it, he'd try and kill that 'verse's Condesce just to get her away from him. For a man who hates and fears indigos in general and Makaras in specific, this is kind of incredible. Even to him.

Openly: He's a little uncertain around her, as with most Mindfangs, though he's got a soft spot for them all. Still, he has his and she tends to watch his interactions with others like a hawk so he's careful.

Secretly: He wants to help her find her Rufioh, or at least make her feel better and less alone. He knows exactly what it feels like to be certain you'll never find your mate, or at least that they'll never forgive you if you do find them...really he just kind of wants to hold and reassure her that things will be all right. He's half-hoping that she turns out to be romeonitram's Mindfang somehow, for both their sakes, though he's fairly sure it won't happen.
