So I have a tiny issue
I'm that one person that when you tell me "I'll text you/I'll call you," I'll wait for the call or text wait patiently. And it truly, truly irks me when someone forgets because I would do my best to not forget, because I wouldn't want to make others feel like they're not important enough for even a simple "hey, I got back really late, sorry I didn't call." And then my mind spins horrible imaginative stories of how you're having so much fun, much more fun than you could have with me, and completely forgot about my existence, and it hurts, so if you're not going to make the effort of calling me or texting me as your promised, don't promise me anything. Don't get me wrong, I still love you and forgive you, but sometimes I wish I knew the pain that it causes me. I know I shouldn't push my insecurities on you, but I never do, so I'm hoping I could be lucky enough to get an exception.

13) What is the most insulting thing anyone has said to you?
Let’s categorize this into two piles: most insulting and most hurtful.
Most insulting would totally be when my “friend” told me that I was a horrible friend when I had just sacrificed myself in so many ways to help her. She compared me to the boy who she had just broken up with. She was sad, but I had to tell a bitch to step back and listen to me, because all I was doing is helping her. It was easily fixed, but ain’t nobody calling me a bad friend with no reason. If you have a reason, fine, but I hate being accused of things I did not do.
Most hurtful was when my mom told me I was not her son any further. We had a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge fight and it was bad but I always tried to keep from insulting her but my mom is quite Hispanic and she threw insult at me left and right. And it climaxed and she said that and I cried so much that I fell asleep from exhaustion. We made up, and she says she regrets saying it, but I can’t really erase it from my memory.
18) Does love really exist?
In my opinion? Yes, yes, OH GOD YES. To even think that love doesn’t exist, that the things that I feel are simply “chemical reactions and blah blah blah” is simply terrifying and almost insulting. No, love is a real thing, and while we can explain emotions and social patters through methodology and science, I still think that there’s something beautiful about thinking about someone and smiling. Noticing that little smirk they get when they catch you looking at them. Feeling happy for their happiness, sadness at their sadness, so on. I really do believe in love, and while it’s hard for me to explain, I can assure you that in my opinion, it’s there, plain as day.
22) Do you believe in fate/destiny?
I believe that fate is a malleable material, which we can shape and change with our choices and acts. I believe that people are more aligned or predisposed to certain things. But I can’t say I agree with something that says who I am and who I will be. Hell, maybe fate does exist, but I would still think it’s a changeable, metamorphosing concept.
24) Do we define ourselves, or does our past?
Both. Our pasts shapes us as we grow and develop, making us have certain opinions and believe certain concepts. But I don’t think humans can’t change - if we put our minds to it, humans can change who they are, for better or for worse. A person could have grown up a criminal, but they can change, and become better people. It just takes force of will and effort.
45) Right now, you could call the person you like/love (if you aren’t dating/engaged/married already), or show up at their front door, and just confess or kiss them or whatever. What’s stopping you?
The fact that’s unrequited love. I have a bad habit of falling for the people who I shouldn’t (in other words, I’m gay, he’s not) but I can’t help it. I love him, I really do. He’s one of my closest friends, my undying ally, and I know I could depend on him for anything and everything. He knows, mind you, and as much as he wishes he could say yes to me, because he wants me to be happy (and we both agree that boyyy, do we have chemistry), but he can’t love me how I love him. It really doesn’t matter - I will be the friend he needs, the shoulder to cry on when some bitch breaks his heart, and whatever else I can be to make him happy. That’s part of what love is, after all. Even if I have to watch as someone else makes him happy in ways that I only wish I could, both physically and emotionally, I will do as I must. I’ll eventually find someone, move on, but I’ll still love him. I’m just stupidly stubborn that way.
But believe me, honey, if that weren’t the case, we’d be having maddddd sex right now.

4) What do you love about yourself?
Well, it’s hard to say. I don’t think about myself that much, but I guess that’s partially what it is. I love my ability to be loyal to others, and go through whatever it may be in order to help those who I love. No mater what pain, trial, or issue, I will not allow myself to be a lesser friend, family member, or boyfriend.
5) What’s your greatest flaw?
My stubbornness would take this slot. My steadfast ability to truck through things doesn’t come from anything but my stubbornness. It’s quite self-harming, sometimes, since I refuse to let go of things that I should have let go of a long time ago, and try to push through things when I really should just admit that I’m wrong or right or something. Also, my ability to see hope and be idealistic, while normally something I love, can be detrimental.
8) What’s something you’re bad at, but love?
Poetry. As an English Major, one of the things we’re exposed to is copious poetry. I, personally, am a horrible poet - I can barely write sonnets. But I love poetry and everything it encompasses.
28) Is there good in everyone?
Yes. Yes, there is. Humanity is an amazing species, and while there’s also bad things in people, I like to think that there is good in people. Just like bad things can be prevented, however, so can good be erased from a person or animal or thing. It might sound idealistic, but I really do think humans are wonderful beings who are capable of so much, and can be so, so kind.
32) What’s the first thing you notice about someone?
Physically, I really don’t know. It depends on the person - normally, something like height or eye color can call my attention, but a face is just as appealing. However, I’d like to say that it’s their personality - while I know that first impressions are not always the best thing to guide one’s judgment on a person, it’s just something I do. As a side note, I normally also notice their state of undress.
44) Is lying about something as bad as cheating?
Depends on what we’re talking about here, honey. I really do think a white lie here and there is not bad - don’t take me wrong, I strive to be honest and sincere when I can, but saying that you’re 10 minutes away and then arriving in 5 minutes as a nice surprise can’t be that bad of a lie, can it? Now, if we’re talking about deep relationship things, like if I ask you if you’re a virgin and you lie, I would still try to take that on a case-by-case basis. I would rather you be honest with me, but I’ll also try to be understanding, to a degree. There are limits, though.

I’ve tried that once, but sadly I didn’t really have enough skill with magic to really be of use to anyone like that… Plus, I kind of look silly without my armor. Not that anyone would really notice.

1. What’s your favorite genre to watch?
I would say sci-fi/fantasy/drama. Scifanma? I dunno, but shows that are like Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Merlin, etc. are really intriguing to me.
2. Do you prefer hot or cold weather?
Cold. Definitely cold. After nearly 18 years of living in the hot and humid weather of South Florida, I am DONE with hot. I'm more energetic and happy in the cold, and plus, I can always put on more clothes when it's cold. Can you take everything off in hot weather? Not unless you want to be arrested for indecent exposure. So yeah. Cold.
3. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
Probably Russia. I'm part Russian, so I think it would be really cool to be able to go to a part of the world where my heritage comes from.
4. What’s your favorite drink (it doesn’t have to be alcoholic)?
Strawberry daiquris are my weakness. Both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. Ugh, now I want one D:
5. If you could have any superpower, which would you have and why?
I would say the ability to go without sleep for extended periods of time. I mean sure, I can pull two and a half allnighters in a row if I have to, but if I could go like a week without needing sleep, the amount of tv shows I would be able to catch up on stuff I would get done would be insane.
6. Would you be a villain or hero?
I would like to think I would be like the antihero. Like, I would do good, but not necessarily be good, you know?
7. If you were sentenced to death, what would you choose as your last meal?
Holy crap, I've never thought about this... Um, probably something like pizza or macaroni and cheese. Maybe both. And something with chocolate. Because those are my absolute favorite foods.
8. You’re trapped on an island and you’re allowed to take three books with you. Which ones would you take?
Ugh, this is painful. Probably "The Book Thief" because even though it's sad, I really like it, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" because out of the seven, it's my favorite, and a journal to be able to write about my life on that island, in the hopes of either being rescued and getting a book deal (how sweet would that be?!) or dying there and it eventually being found.
9. Favorite fictional character from a book?
Another painful one. I would have to go with the predictable Hermione. I just love her so much because she's so intelligent and strong and I just have a lot of feelings about her that I won't get into right now...

Middle Earth. Elveses and Hobbitses and Dwarveses and Humanses. We loves them all! But not the orcses. They scares us.
