Why are some websites so fascinated that in the WONDER WOMAN movie they cast actual athletic women as the Amazons?

I keep seeing headlines like "Real Athletic Women Were Used As Amazons" or "The Makers Of Wonder Woman Actually Cast Female Athletes To Play The Amazons" Did these websites think the Amazons were CGI or that the actors portraying the Amazons were men in drag? Did they think the audiences seeing the movie didn't know that the Amazons are actually women? Or worse did these websites not know athletic women actually exist? I'm not saying that the premise of the article is not valid. Highlighting these women is a good thing. A great thing. But the wording or at least the wording of the headlines is awful. I mean it's like saying "The Dragons In How To Train Your Dragon Were Actually Alligators And Crocodiles In Make Up" or "The Alien In Alien Covenant Is An Actual Extraterrestrial" Those are revelations. Athletic women playing Amazons, not really a shocker. Unless it is a shocker to the writer which is really sad. Maybe instead they could have titled it "Real Amazons Prove Women Deserve More Appreciation In Hollywood" or "Why Use CGI When You Can Just Cast Women?" Or "Gal Gadot Not The Only Wonder Woman On Set"
