It is a unifying feature of all Gawains to have Mega Mammaries. Absolutely Titanic Tiddies. Ginormous Gazongas. Colossal Cans. Big Breasts if your feeling laconic and to the point.

Every once in a while, there’s something to be said for every Servants accent, that little reminder of their original self.

Three of the Cús sound similar, but Alter sounds off for the longest time. It’s not until you summon Medb and hear her speak that you realize the difference: Cú Alter’s accent is distinctly Connacht, likely another something Medb created upon the Grail. You realize you’ve also heard something like that from Fergus, though occasionally he goes into Ulster. It almost seems to change unconsciously, determined by whose ear he’s got at the moment.

Billy’s accent is not what you expected. Rather than the southern drawl most would think of a cowboy, it’s closer to something you’d hear in the Northern U.S. He died young enough that his New York heritage is still there, though he spent enough time in New Mexico and Arizona that his voice has the occasional southern flavor here and there, a “y’all” every once in a while.

Murasaki Shikibu sounded exactly like what you’d hope a Heian lady-in-waiting gifted in the arts of the written word would sound like. A refined accent that brags without meaning to of being erudite and learned, that invites you to see her as someone who could speak circles around you. It contrasts with the words themselves, you think. Her manner of speech old and dated to your modern ears, yet there’s something about it that says she wishes to be on more friendly terms. It also contrasts with the fact that you’ve seen her be quite clumsy before, nearly dropping the book that is her Noble Phantasm in battle while seemingly standing still. It adds to her charm, you conclude.

When you learned that Orkney was part of Scotland, you figured Gawain and Gareth would sound like Scathach. You weren’t entirely wrong, but it was still not what was expected when they spoke and the words came out... smoother? You suppose? Almost a musical quality to it, compared to Scathach’s thicker, more solid brogue.

That said, it was Scathach-Skadi that threw you off the most. Her accent strange and seemingly impossible, equal parts Scottish and (what you can only assume is) Old Norse. Sometimes it seemed to shift from one to the other, certain sounds of one area establishing themselves at the expense of the other. You suspect it’s related to when one of the two of them is the dominant force behind a decision or action.

Though she speaks Spanish on occasion, the words peppering her sentences like a well seasoned steak, they almost seemed as foreign to Quetzalcoatls speech as they would to a native speaker of Japanese or English. Accents occasionally emphasized a little too harshly or not at all, seemingly half intentionally, as though an insult to an audience that wasn’t there. It’s not until you hear her cuss out Columbus (who she probably figures had some part to play in what happened to her people/worshippers) in perfect Nahuatl you realize why. It also makes you pray Hernán Cortés isn’t summoned to Chaldea. Not because of what she’d do to him, but because you fear Chaldea doesn’t have the budget to repair the collateral damage she’s create in the process.

Abigail sounds like Boston. Modern Boston. You almost think this weird, until you remember Raum’s influence on the Salem pseudo-singularity. From that you figure the Demon Pillar didn’t care too much to be that accurate.

You never were able to figure out what was going on with Romani’s accent. Not until it was too late. While he had a voice that was almost... plain, seemingly generic and nationless in how he spoke each word, every once in a while something slipped through. It wasn’t until David came that you could recognize the occasional shreds of an accent for something only a king of Jerusalem would have. It wasn’t until Goetia that you realized why.
