This was one of my favorite scenes in the finale of The Vendetta of An, imo.
I love the light and color choices made here, they really emphasize what they both stand for.

Ever Night (将夜) Season 2 teaser
So. Yesterday I started watching Ever Night ( 将夜). Mainly because I was bored and secondly because I was curious about Chen Feiyu, the actor assigned to Mo Ran for the upcoming 2HA live action.
Gotta say the boy is good! I really see him in Mo Ran’s role. Maybe part of it is because Ning Que and young Mo Ran are kinda similar in character, but I feel he’ll do wonderfully.
And also. Going back on the Chu Wanning actor talk, I realized a new thing. As I previously said, I’m not really digging Luo Yunxi as CWN and watching Ever Night I came across Sun Zu Jun.
BOI. He would have been the finest Shizun! Just look at him!
I’m just 10 episodes in, but up to this point his acting seems pretty good and his character kinda resembles Chu Wanning to a certain degree.
So at this point, I can’t help to ask myself if they did choose Luo Yunxi partly because he would gather more attention to the product. Again, not saying he’s not good, I just think there are many other actors out there that as good as him and better fit CWN’s physical description*. He’s a little younger than Luo Yunxi, but still looks more mature and loftier than him.
*may I remind those who criticized me for my opinion that CWN in the novel is described as: lofty, cold looking, “beautiful, but not feminine”, “sword-cut features”, “sword eyebrows”, “phoenix eyes” (i don’t even know how many times it’s mentioned in the book that this is his signature feature).
