                                   Unimpressed by the fact that her fate had been apparently chosen for her, Winry was well known for ignoring the countdown etched into her skin. Even late at night, when she couldn’t sleep and found herself tracing the numbers, she paid so little attention to it, that it wasn’t until a mere fifteen minutes before the numbers hit zero that Winry seemed to finally notice it at all, or seemed to care.

                                   She felt the panic in her chest rising with each minute that ticked away, and the small cafe she found herself sitting did little to comfort her as the crowd dwindled, leaving so few people left. sighing, Winry stood, unable to take the torture that was waiting, and she swiftly made her way out. 

                                    Lost in her own mind, she was unaware of the jingle of the bell over the door as another entered the shop. It wasn’t until she smacked right into him, her coffee spilling over the front of his shirt. The dull ache in her wrist from the timer had blown into a full burning sensation, and Winry looked up, blue eyes looking mortified at her faux pas, and she quickly backed away. 

                                    ❛ I-I’m so sorry! I wasn’t paying attention- ❜She said quickly, a hand coming to cover the blaring 00:00:00 on her wrist. Great way to make a first impression, truly.
