Day 8: Ramayana
Janak stepped into the wide, carpeted hallway of Ayodhya’s palace hoping one of those chandeliers would fall on his head. What man would dare question his Sita? What King would dare banish his Queen? What Emperor would forsake her twice? Apparently, Rama. And now here he was, forced to tolerate the hospitality of the family that shunned his daughter. Sunaina sobbed beside him. Never in his life had Janak felt so helpless.

i will be participating in OCtober this coming month. however, since i am partially busy, and completely unprepared, i'll be going about it a little differently -
there will be no schedule for the entire month.
i won't be posting just OCs. instead, i will also include poetry, quotes or plot ideas from my various works in progress.
i will be taking requests! if you've read my writing/poetry before and would like a small piece on something, i promise to try my best :)) you can also ask me to create an OC . my askbox is always open!
much love, neil.

Weird relationships in Hindu mythology
By no means a complete list.
1. Sulochana is the daughter of Sheshnag, king of serpents, and she is married to Meghnad/Indrajit, Ravana’s son. Indrajit is killed by Lakshman, the incarnation of Sheshnag, meaning Lakshman kills his own son-in-law and Sulochana is widowed by her own father.
2. Sulochana and Sunaina are also twin sisters who were separated at birth. Sulochana was raised in Naga-Loka and Sunaina was raised by Parvati before she married Janaka of Mithila. Suniana is Sita’s adoptive mother, meaning Sulochana is Sita’s aunt.
3. Satyabhama is the reincarnation of Bhumi Devi, Mother Earth, and in a past life Narakasura was her son, meaning she has to kill her own son in battle. This also means that she was Rukmini’s mother in a past life.
