Cold. It had felt cold. It was a cold so sudden Benitoite felt she was dropped into a tub of ice water. It had been simple enough, the young kindergarten gem and her comapanions had been fighting the corrupted creature that was once one of them. It was simple procedure really, they’d done it dozens of times before. What had gone wrong then? Ben blamed her selfish nature to keep things to herself. To keep her only friends with her. She didn’t realize how much it would /hurt/ having a jagged blade-like claw go through your chest until she saw the look of absolute *horror* in Lepidolite and Aquamarine’s faces. Sputtering stupidly, Ben dropped to her knees with wide, unseeing eyes. Blindly she looked at the other two, her gaze somehow finding their general vicinity. “L-Lepi…Aq-ua-?” /Poof./
