Monday, January 19th, 2015: A couple of friends and I were really jonesing for some ramen, and we actually did peek into Ippudo to see what the wait time was. An hour. NO THANKS. So it was a quick trek to St. Marks to find any hot, noodley meal. My buddies introduced me to Udon West (11 Saint Marks Place), and I enjoyed an awesome combo meal of regular udon and side dish of gyoza.
As a return favor for recommending a great lunch, I then navigated us to dessert at Sundaes & Cones (95 East 10th Street), which I've been going to for a couple of years for their awesome ice cream flavors. I tried their mocha chip and vanilla cherry this time. Impeccable.
