Weekly roundup 29.9.23
* highlight The highlight of this week was our spontaneous adventure to see the little fairy penguins come up the beach at Low Head. Wednesday was a wonderful as a whole, shopping and goofing around and sharing our thoughts together, being fun and cheeky and seeing something we'd never seen before.. It was a day that really gave me hope for the future. * lowlight Being stuck in the rain on the way to work yesterday :( * reading Just finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Lots of feelings, still, after all this time * listening The killers (cos sammy's been playing it in the car) and I bought lady gagas Applause, zedd (ft foxes) Clarity, and the naked and famous Hearts Like Ours all off iTunes on Friday. * watching Finished season 8 of scrubs. More feelings. Also a bit of futurama :) * fitness Went to the gym on Friday, and been logging 30 mins of movement outside every second day or so. Eating has been all over the shop... I don't think I've had a proper brekky even once this week... That ends today. Going to start whole30 again on Monday, so I can be healthy and fit for Amy's wedding :) I haven't been sleeping enough, and that seriously has to stop too, I need to get back to getting a decent 8 hours each night. Feeling so unmotivated to work out, been once I get to the gym, but after talking to mum on the phone yesterday, she has challenged me to set a goal to achieve, like run/walk a marathon (42km) on the treadmill over a week. Which you know, I could do walking for an hour every day, or running for half the time, or however I can, but it's gonna be great to feel like I'm better working towards something. * 30 b4 30 Ticked off 'random road trip' and 'document an average day in photographs' both from my DayZero list, and added 'complete a 5k' to my 30 before 30. Have started thinking about my personal mission statement. I never was very good at coming up with those. Focus area for next week: complete 42km on the treadmill by next Sunday, and prepare products for market on Sunday.
