Kemp Biddulph has been a Sun Devil Athletics supporter for more than 30 years and is an ASU graduate from the W.P. Carey School of Business.
Thank you for being a part of the Sun Devil Club and investing in our student-athletes.
Meet Kemp
In what ways are you connected to ASU?
Alumni, Class of 1960. Lifetime Alumni Association member. President's Club. Sun Devil Club. Baseball Breakfast Club member. Eighteen-year member of the Sun Angel Executive Board. I follow all that is ASU and ASU is a big part of my life.
Why do you think it is important to support collegiate athletics, and specifically Sun Devil Athletics?
Positive life lessons for those that participate, including the supporting staff, students and active fans. It provides a rallying point and an element of pride for all phases of the University; it creates enthusiasm for fundraising; and provides massive entertainment opportunities for Arizona residents and beyond.
What would you like to accomplish with your philanthropy?
To further opportunities as outlined in the question above.
What do you enjoy most about being a Sun Devil Club member?
I enjoy receiving all the updates. The occasional perks received are appreciated, and access to the many helpful and congenial ASU staff members is a plus.
What does it mean to you to be a Sun Devil and be a part of the Sun Devil Family? How does it help connect you with your community?
Direct contact with ASU personnel, athletic participants and active fans makes me feel like family. There is even something special about the guy or gal that pulls up next to me in a parking lot that is displaying an ASU decal. GO DEVILS
How has your experience at ASU positively impacted your life?
It gives me a point of pride, having been a part of the family since enrolling in 1956. Even before our family would participate in ASU activities. Simply put, I'm a 'Lifetime Devil.'
What is your most memorable Sun Devil memory?
Well, graduation was a milestone! And, all the sporting successes we have all enjoyed.
Describe the most exciting game you have attended.
Sorry to say, I missed the Rose Bowl win but thoroughly enjoyed the Ohio State game, although the outcome was a bummer. I enjoyed four of our five College World Series wins. My son-in-law’s participation, Bert Martinez, was very special.
If you could have dinner with any Sun Devil student-athlete/coach/staff member from the past, present or future, who would it be and why?
Through it all, I happen to be a Barry Bonds fan. His athletic ability, commitment to excel, many accomplishments and personal life re-direction, is very impressive.
About last night... Former @asu_baseball and @sfgiants great Barry Bonds returned last night to throw out the first pitch of the game #SunDevilForLife (at Phoenix Municipal Stadium)
