It's not a question, it's a statement. A pre-emptive one at that. If only because she can't count on the stranger to say not mention that she had turned from a little black cat to a fully grown woman in what she had assumed was an empty alleyway. Her own fault for not looking, properly, she supposed.

Not that she'd admit that out loud.

"And if I find out you did, I'll get the marines involved."

Vivi was curious about the guy, he really caught her attention for some reason. Maybe he reminded her of old friends? Probably.

"I have been too soft on you... If you've made it this far, all that worry has been for nothing," she said, frowning. She used to feel very protective over Hiru --- she viewed him as a child gone astray in life. He just seemed so young to be Wanted, to be putting himself in danger the way he did with his chosen, ah, 'lifestyle.'

She could see she had been condescending in the past. Here was a man grown, who has willfully decided to be a criminal. It was still the wrong decision, she would forever maintain, but he was not misguided by youth.

"It makes me think of you a little differently...," she said, her words lingering as she found herself in thought. Did this make them enemies?

Bay had been alerted about a pirate ship that had anchored on the island. With how many pirates were taking the opportunity to pillage her father’s former territories, Bay had grown wary of allowing anyone onto the few territories she was attempting to preserve and protect.

The woman walked onto the beach with her crew a few steps behind. Her wrist rested by the handle of her sword, but it was still sheathed on her hip. Bay called out to the ship that was just off shore, “This island is under the Arctic Pirates flag. What is your business here? Hostiles will not be tolerated.”
