Honestly good question. Idk how long ago this was asked since it’s been a couple years since I’ve posted to this blog or checked my inbox, but looking back at it I definitely see what you mean. I don’t really have a clear memory of what my process of writing that particular imagine was, but I think I’d approach it quite differently now than I did when I wrote it ~4 years ago. I do think I wrote Bakugou as being overly abrasive in a way that’s not really conducive to where that story was trying to go. If I had to guess, my assumption would be that I was concerned with not wanting to soften him up in a way that felt unfaithful to how he is in the canon. I think this is a super valid reaction, though, and I appreciate you being willing to say something. I’d try to handle that story with a lot more sensitivity if I were to write it over again today. Hope you see this, anon ^.^
