Indulge in these delightful chocolate Oreo cookies at your sunflower-themed party! The rich cocoa flavor combined with the iconic Oreo crunch will brighten up your event.
Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 1 cup brown sugar, packed. 2 large eggs. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 cup chocolate chips. 20 chocolate sandwich cookies Oreos.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on baking sheets. Mix the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour together in a medium-sized bowl using a whisk. Melt the butter and mix it with the white sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Adding the eggs one at a time and mixing them in is the next step. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones one at a time and mix just until everything is combined. The chocolate chips should be carefully mixed in. With care, twist open one Oreo chocolate sandwich cookie. Take the cream filling off and put it somewhere else. Spread a tablespoon of cookie dough on one half of the cookie. Place the other half on top of the dough and gently press the edges together to seal them. Do this again with the rest of the cookies and dough, putting them on the baking sheets that have been prepared. After the oven is hot, bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes, or until they are set. For a few minutes, let the cookies cool on the baking sheets. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely.
