2018 to 2019 Goal

Since my new school year is going to start I decided that there were certain things that I wanted to achieve and to help me keep me accountable for these goals I decided to share them on here. I’ve set some long-term goal and some short-term goals that I hope to implement in my daily life. (I know there's quite a lot but I won’t start them all at the same time.)

Academics

🏆Have all my grades 90% or higher.

👣Read current notes every day before bed.

👣Finish homework on Friday or Saturday.

👣Use the Curve of Forgetting.

👣Designate 1 day every week for actual revision.

Health

🏆Lose 6kgs by June 2019.

👣Jog at least 30 mins every day.

👣No eating past 7 pm.

👣Reduce eating rice to 1 meal a day.

Studyblr/Booklr

🏆Consistently create and post my own content 4x a month.

👣Create new content every Saturday.

👣Post on Sundays.

Self-care

🏆Reduce stress and improve mood throughout the school year.

👣Journal when stressed.

👣Sunday evenings are reserved for some me time. 

👣Read every day, before bed or before school.

Organize/Cleanliness

🏆Maintan an organize and clean environment.

👣Fridays are for organizing school stuff and laundry

👣Satudays are for cleaning washrooms and cleaning and organizing my room.

1. What is your degree/ favourite subject?

My favourite subject would have to be biology but I don’t actually hate any of my subjects. I also really like history, chemistry and so on. 

2. Where are you from?

I was born in the Philippines but I grew up here in Canada.

3. What motivates you to study?

I think my future is what motivates me to study. 

4. What do you love about yourself?

This is a really hard question to answer but if there is one thing I think it would have to be my empathy for other people. 

5. What time do you do your best studying?

Really early in the morning or really late at night are my prime times. Afternoons are brutal though. I never get anything done in the afternoons.

6. What is your favourite tv show?

I don’t watch a lot of shows but I like crime tv shows. Some that I like are Criminal Minds and Bones. I also watch k-dramas and c-dramas. If you have any recommendations hit me up.

7. Best self care tip for exam season

When your feeling overwhelmed take a nap, you’ll feel so much better when you wake up. This saved my life last exam season.

8. Do you listen to music when you study?

Yes. I like to listen to movie and video game soundtracks.

9. What is your favourite book?

I don’t really have a favourite book and there are honestly too many good books out there. Here some that I really love PJO series, Penryn and the End of Days trilogy, Six of Crows, The Wrath and the Dawn and etc.

10. Where do you do your best studying?

When I’m doing some writing work then my desk otherwise if I’m trying to learn something then my sofa or just while roaming around my room

11. What do you get complimented on often?

I get complimented that I’m organized by my friends a lot. Little did they know I’m really not that organized.

12. Where would you like to live in the future?

Not sure yet but I’d like to try and live in a bigger city.

13. How long have you been active on your studyblr?

I’ve had this studyblr for a while but I’ve only really been active for a couple of weeks.

14. Favorite way to spend study breaks?

Reading, social media and eating.

15. What is your favourite study snack?

Anything I can find in the pantry really but oranges are the best.

09.07.18 || 2/100 Days of Productivity

I actually only went to 2 classes today. I don't have a lot of homework but I already feel a little bit unmotivated. Which is really bad but on the other hand I finally passed my driving exam. Which means I can finally drive by myself. Which is also a bit scary. 😐

First day of school went pretty well. I didn’t really get any homework but I did get an assignment in Family Studies. I didn’t realize that Prezi is harder than it looks.

Backpack

Granite Gear Voyageurs - This back is nice and sturdy. It has a padded back and the straps and reinforced and thick. I tend to carry a lot during the school day and I think this backpack will definently last the year.

Notebooks/Binder/Paper

Five Star Flex Notebinder - This notebinder will save a lot of space in my back pack as it is not bulky like other binders.

Five Star Quad Refill Paper 

#Hilroy 160 Page Quad Notebook - I’ll be using these for my pre-cal, calculus and physic classes. Made sure to buy quite a few.

Steadler Triplus Mechanical Pencil 0.7mm - These were pretty expensive mechanical pencil but I think it’s good to invest in a good pencil.

Paper Mate Lead Refiil 0.7m 

I still have lots of leftover supplies from last year, so I really didn’t buy much.
