32. do you have any strange interests?

define “strange” lol. I’m definitely really into piercings and tattoos (I have 11 piercings and 8 tattoos), and recently I’ve gotten into mixing and matching different earrings. ngl, was somewhat inspired by hyunsik/ilhoon and their really nice dangly earrings <3

I’ve always really liked video games that are more plot-based rather than action-oriented, so my video game collection largely consists of visual novels and strategy JRPGs (in contrast to my brother’s collection, which I feel like ranges wider in taste).

I love both reading and collecting books. I think there’s something really satisfying about owning a new book, esp a really pretty hardcover, and slipping it into place on your bookshelf. you can kind of track my obsessions over the years just by looking through my book collection - it’s really quite a wide range lol

I also have a thing for rewriting song lyrics, usually for the purposes of parody. more recently, I wrote english lyrics (meaning, ones that are not 100% accurate translations, but which fit well lyrically) for “my lady” and “swimming.” might actually post them someday, if I can record a good enough guide.

again…define strange haha. I definitely dislike spiders and don’t like heights, but I don’t feel like either of those are unreasonable.

How and when did you get into BtoB?

I kinda answered that here but: a few months ago (around “Movie”) Peniel’s Hello Counselor episode and “Pray” is undeniable so I had to check them out. I was blown away by their vocals, plain and simple, and “Movie” was so cute.

Your BtoB bias?

I don’t understand how one could begin to have a bias because I love them all so much for different reasons. I’m what the kids call “OT7 biased”. I will give you a bonus answer to number 3 and tell you that Changsub is the biggest bias-wrecker there is.

Complete or Brother Act?

Man… Brother Act wins this but the intro and “It’s Okay”…

New Men era or Feel’em era?

Feel’em has so much I love (if I ever try for a complete set of photocards it would be those) but New Men era was when Peniel’s Hello Counselor happened and Minhyuk and Changsub’s hair were no joke. Plus I could watch Eunkwang do that dance every minute of everyday and never be cold or lonely or sick again.

when he was brushing peniel’s hair in beatcom and a) made sure that the brush didn’t hurt peniel’s scalp, and b) talked about how pretty he was T_T

when he was being his usual extra self during the amigo tv challenge and accidentally crashed into the table, exceeding the decibel limit and causing changsub to shush him hahaha

basically anytime he and eunkwang are on screen together tbh

#honorable mention goes to all those times in early broadcast appearances #when ilhoon would try to talk and the other members would drown him out with their incessant noise #and he would just be like ._.#those days are long gone now lol I suppose that counts as character development #ask #sungjaesgf
