@sunhalf asked: It's all very casual — it would probably be a little less so, though not a LOT less so, were she not actually exhausted. Day - three - give - it - up - for - day - three kind of exhausted. But it's very casual, they way Mei comes up behind him, nearly falling into his back, and her arms wrap around his waist and she — nuzzles into him, first the space between his shoulder blades and then against his neck. Then, she says, sleepy but also deadly serious, "Anybody ever tell you...you have great tits."
he knows she's there behind him in the moments before she collapses into his back — his own arms lift just slightly for her to wrap hers around him as she leans into him, and his arms wrap over hers in a comfortable response. red son can tell she's exhausted before she even speaks, her relative silence and contained energy a giveaway.
they expect whining about aforementioned exhaustion, or a near-incoherent sleepy mumble, or anything besides what she ends up saying ——— his body tenses as heat rises to his face and sets his hair aglow. "no," he responds, his tone as carefully enunciated as always — at least she can't see their face right now, because that would certainly break the facade of composure. "i can't say anyone has." there's a beat of silence, his fingers curling a bit more against her arms.
"what i can say, dragon girl, is that you are clearly too tired to be up and about, talking like that." he pulls her arms off of him and turns, or tries to. really, the entire thing feels like he's having to pry her off of him with some physical force on his part and no insignificant amount of mumbling and whining on hers. he clicks his tongue in ( lighthearted ) annoyance as he's finally able to scoop her up into his arms.
"use them as a pillow if you like them so much," he mutters, "but you are going to sleep. so don't bother whining."
