I’m sharing this picture because it represents something important to me I’m sitting in my new car and I’m gleaming, but it’s more than just because of the car. I can whole heartily say that I did it all by myself. I left home at 18 from bad conditions, and over the years I’ve learned how to support myself in the adult world. My parents didn’t help me out with money for the hardest years of my life, and having a stable home and to feel secure wasn’t something that came easily. I’ve been working two jobs for almost 4 years now and managed to have no terrifying school loan debt, I live in my own apartments, I have good credit, a building savings account, and the satisfaction of being independent at 25 years old. Next goal: college degree (now that I’ll be able to pay as I go)
