5) character you were most surprised to end up writingUshiwaka, definitely. I had never written him before, but I kept seeing people hate on him for what he said to Oikawa like...every time they spoke. But I *get* the kind of person he is, with no simultaneous brain to mouth filter. He says what he means, and I like that. So last year for his birthday, I started a story about him making friends with unlikely people. It’s one of my most popular stories, and I am proud of the way it was received. People love this tol doofus the same way I do, which gives me hope and life.

17) if you could give your fledgling author self any advice, what would it be?Stop worrying about making things perfect. It isn’t, won’t be, and never will be. Instead, focus on what you want to say and how you want to say it. The rest (style, flow, etc) comes with time and practice. Not with slavish exactitude.

This is from my fic Not a Love Story, featuring Suga/Miyuki Kazuya from Daiya no Ace.

Throwing a smirk at Suga, Kazuya grabs an armload of trousers and marches into the fitting room. Suga follows and clinically strips Kazuya down to his underwear. "One 'on your knees' joke and I will break it off," Suga warns, shooting a glare for good measure. Kazuya's cheeks are already bulging with retrained laughter. "I mean it, Miyuki."

"Anything you — you —" Kazuya cackles, leaning against the side of the changing room as he tries to catch his breath. "Oh, I'm s-sorry."

Suga reaches out and roughly pinches a chunk of Kazuya's rump and rolls his eyes. "No you're not. Now shut up before you get us thrown out."

ALL OF THEM but i’d like to see more kiyoko ships i think, like daikiyo or oikiyo maybe? but honestly this is haikyuu, get me a cute headcanon that seems ic and i’ll want to hear more about the ship tbh

i don’t dare looking anything up with oi/kage in it, even as poly, because so much of the fics include abuse etc and i just??? i guess i can see what makes so many people interpret it that way but it’s concerning that it seems to be the most common way to write them :/

also all the ships where it’s common for people to assign “““masculine”““ traits to one and “““““feminine”“““ traits to another for the sake of perpetuating heteronormativity through the ship but that’s not just a misunderstanding problem :)))))

14. talk about a vacation

we usually have a family vacation for one or two weeks in summer and this year, like several times before, we went to brittany, which is a part of france we all love. also the sea is always near so honestly i’m always happy when we’re there, this year there was a beach like 10mn away on foot and when i went there alone i spent a lot of time just. staring at the sea.

also we played an escape game IN A CASTLE but there was a pb with one of the padlocks so we couldn’t finish properly :c but it was real fun to play one with my family

26. talk about things you do when you’re sick

i rarely get sick and usually it’s like, just a little virus, so i keep doing everything i do usually and like i drink herbal tea or something. if it’s bad enough to keep me home i’ll stay in bed a lot, and then internet or if the computer is too much i’ll read. if i can’t do either i just wait :’) but honestty yeah most of the time i don’t do anything special, i don’t even really take painkillers

the only thing that’s really fun to do when i’m sick enough is get my sister with me and put on a bad movie and try to understand what’s happening.

36. talk about your guilty pleasures

i don’t think i have any? the closest is writing/reading fanfics tbh. i’ll indulge in tuff sometimes (usually good food) but i don’t feel particulaly guilty, good food is practicaly a religion here anyway ^^
