I was tagged by dontpanictilyouhaveto to say five facts about myself and tag 10. Idk 10 tbh so I'll just tag ones I know...lol

1. I like to procrastinate. A lot. Or more like, I know I have time so I put it off because I work better under pressure, apparently.

2. I love traveling and everything related to it - hotels, hostels, meeting new people, diaries to document those moments as well as photographs/cameras. It's wonderful and I cannot understand people who don't like to do this. Like what.

3. Having alone time is the most important to me. I like to be by myself quite a bit - or maybe more than a little bit...lol

4. I don't show feelings that often, which can be misunderstood as uninterested or hate. Could also be due to a case of resting bitch face, which I think I may have...? I am interested and love those around me, just figured it's kind of obvious if I hang around them that often.

5. I'm a hopeless romantic.

At least the internet exists; there’s so many people and such a wide support net in desperate times - even if it’s just cute pictures for a quick pick-me-up or something. Anyway, sending more good thoughts your way, b/c that’s all I can do ~ >_<

It really is strange how you find things right when you need them sometimes. Lou Brealey tweeted Benedict Cumberbatch's take on the ice bucket challenge, and it was enough to at least pull me back from "fuck it all" levels of hating my life. (That video's here, by the way, for any interested parties.)

As for the good thoughts, CONCENTRATE HARDER AHHHHHHHH.

It’s hard, but try to bring as much positivity/self-care into your life as possible, and find more supportive people to talk to <3

Yeah. I've been trying to practice more self-care, but most of the time it makes me feel more like an infant than a well-adjusted adult. And I'm so isolated here it's ridiculous. I literally have no friends that aren't 800 miles away, and no feasible way to make new ones when I can't even get out of bed.

Not to rain on the positivity parade, but I'm trying to be realistic. Reality just happens to suck sometimes. :\ Still, many thanks for your kind response, dongsaeng. <3

15. Are you going to be a pureblood/half-blood/Muggle-born?

This has always been an interesting question to me, because I don’t know what the criteria for magic actually is. My parents are pretty bad people in a lot of ways, but there are witches and wizards who are just as bad if not worse. So to say “oh, I’d be a Muggle-born because my parents suck” isn’t exactly accurate: they can suck and have magic at the same time, or else we wouldn’t have people like Walburga Black who was a bigot and an abuser. So, really the question is more one of “how do you feel about your life?” than “what kind of family background do you have?” I swear I could write an essay about this sort of thing, but I’ll leave it at this: I think I would be a half-blood.

37. What wizard snack would be your favorite, or what one would you like to try?

My first thought was Chocolate Frogs, but I don’t think that would be a good idea because I’d be freaked out at the moving. I’d have to wait until the charm wore off before I’d eat it. Licorice is nasty, so licorice wands are out… I’m honestly gonna have to look up a list. OH MY GOD I KNOW. Sugar Quills I’d love to try, and sherbet lemons I’d always buy. I ANSWERED WITH A RHYME!

42. What will your boggart be?

Man, that depends as well. It kind of depends on how you define fear, doesn’t it? I mean, I have a bug phobia, so it could be a giant spider or a swarm of crickets, but I’m also afraid of more intangible things like guilt and loud noises. So, either a swarm of crickets or a bunch of firecrackers. I’d probably turn the crickets into a swarm of kittens wearing party hats, and the fireworks into raining chocolate milk that goes ‘weeeee’ as it falls. :)
