At 52, I sometimes wonder if I'd be smarter if I'd taken Professor Stewart's astronomy class when I was 19 or 20. Everyone has a mental model of the solar system from God's, or Captain Kirk's or the invading Romulans' point of view (thank you Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler).
