an issue I have with mac's character in seasons 16 and 17 is I feel like I'm more often than not just watching rob mcelheney and not mac. s13-15 mac's character is caricatured, but it's still mac. s16 they lobotomized him, s17 they brought back more of his traits, though not all. so not only does mac lack his characteristic traits, but I feel like rob is barely trying to actually ACT and pull off MAC (tone of voice, mannerism, delivery..).

I don't really care if celebrities get plastic surgery though it is incredibly ironic for rob to do it lmao and his downturned eyes and eyebrows were his signature features, but all I'm asking for is for him to grow out some facial hair cause why does he look so squeaky clean like he shaved 3 minutes before they started rolling. it's merely a question of character design really. it's all ryan reynolds fault i swear
