It was a bigger crowd that Darcy could have possibly hoped for when Ivy came up with the idea. So many people showed up, were chatting, listening to the musicians who provided a great atmosphere and Darcy hoped this could become a monthly tradition of the town. It was good for the community, and well, she couldn’t deny that it was good for her business too. She was behind the counter, making the new special they were offering for the duration of the event when somebody sat down in front of her. “Can I get you one of these?” she asked as she just finished one of them. “Or are you just sitting down for a second and then heading back to playing?”
To be fair, he had a feeling that Ivy would give his head a good smack as soon as she saw him running around with his camera although his one hand was basically useless. However, he had promised her to help her out and make sure she’d get some proper memories to hold in her hands (and maybe use as future advertisment) of her first event, a stupid little injury like this not going to stop him.
Still he would be lying if he said that he wasn’t somewhat dodging his best friend and sneaking around the bar always making sure he was out of her sight.
The event seemed to be a huge success though and he was glad he was around for it. The bar was packed with people chatting, drinking and enjoying the live music, and he was filled with pride and happiness for both Ivy and Darcy.
Moving through the bar, he smiled when he saw yet another perfect motive, the person not even noticing him until he was done taking the picture and he walked up to them to show them and ask if they were happy with it.
The goal of this event is to come together as a town and enjoy, indulge, and embrace music! No matter the skill level or if you’re just an appreciator of one of the best art forms in the universe, you’re welcome. Our goal is to end off each month with the community coming together, catching up, enjoying music and each other! Good vibes only.

Sunnymead’s Gather&Groove Facebook Page posted a new picture at 2:34PM
Special cocktail for tonight - come join us together in the first Gather&Groove, jam with us, have fun, and don’t forget to try out our one-night special cocktail, Grooving Blueberries
attention ! —the gather & groove mini-event has concluded
As many of you are aware, the event is now over. You may continue event threads for as long as you wish and see fit, but please refrain from posting any new material for the event.
The event starters have been deleted from the starter blog to avoid any confusion.
In case you, the player, weren’t able to be part of the event this week but still wanted your muse to be there, you are more than welcome to create a small summary post of what your OC did at the event. The same goes for those who participated (this is completely optional though!). Tag your posts with sunnymeadrecap, so we know where to look for the summaries!
A NOTE REGARDING WHEN THE EVENT ACTUALLY BEGINS (OOC) !
To make things easier for our members in different timezones, if it’s Sunday for you, like say for you Australians as an example, then technically you may post about the event now. You can also choose to queue your posts or just wait until the next day to post any event threads.
Remember you have pretty much the rest of the week until Saturday to actually make a post of the event, so really there’s no rush (unless you’re super excited)!
For members say in the EST, if you see a post for the event before it is Sunday for you, you may either queue your reply or simply draft it and wait to post it until it’s Sunday.
Tag event posts with sunnymeadevent, please.
I hope that makes sense, but if you're still confused, just send an IM to the main, and I will clarify things for you. :)
