What is with all of the commotion going on? Of course, upon opening the door what she saw was not anything she expected. For a moment she just kind of stands there, processing it.

"Hmph!" Like a stubborn child, she refuses to even take a look at the book before her. It's bad enough feeling like a failure was more present than ever for herself but forced friendship lessons? To rehabilitate her? She didn't need friendship! "This is stupid."

A chuckle emerged as she skimmed through a folklore book. Humans and their creativity with monsters. Though admittedly some of it was accurate. The sound of the other chair moving gets her to look up for a moment. Oh. Someone's sitting next to her. A half-hearted motion of her hand is given to merely acknowledge their existence before going back to her reading.

She's getting all ready to prepare her joke and then he just comes and...ruins it. With that. She can't twist that around into a funny joke for herself! Lame!

Fix this, fix that. Urgh! Her hands and legs were hurting so much. At least she was able to take breaks. Of course, the only thing on her mind even as she rested was Twilight's victory over her. Repeating over and over in her head. Just more salt added to her forever wound. Needless to say, her mood was not going to improve anytime soon. Especially with someone approaching.
