welcome to a new silly thing ; question of the day !! where i ask a question to everyone about our favorite lovely ship and you all answer or give your input !!
now for day 1's question ;

What are your favorite Sunkiss headcanons?

I'm not sure I have a favorite. Maybe because I have too many and make up new ones at least weekly. But here are some.
Bubba often finds himself mediating when Bobby and Dogday argue about whose event plans are better. Since he is the calm, logical one, he helps them find the middle ground, even when things get a little heated.
Kickin Chicken likes to joke that he played a huge role in getting Dogday and Bobby together, taking credit for their chemistry and claiming he’s the “real matchmaker” of the group.
Bobby and Bubba have secret strategy sessions whenever Dogday has a wild plan, (usually spurred on by Hoppy). Bobby sneaks off to Bubba for advice on how to tweak Dogday’s ideas so they don’t completely spiral out of control.
Sometimes they plan/coordinate to go out in matching outfits. It started as a joke but it quickly turned into a tradition.
They argue over who’s the better cuddler. Bobby claims she’s stronger, but Dogday insists he’s the "cuddle champion" because of his warmth.
Every time there's a thunderstorm, they set up a blanket fort, cuddle inside, it’s just an excuse to be closer.
Picky once decided to teach Dogday and Bobby how to cook a romantic dinner, thinking it would “elevate” their relationship. Bobby, despite her best efforts, struggled a bit—her skills are definitely more in baking than regular cooking. But the real surprise? Dogday turned out to be a total natural in the kitchen. He whipped up a dish that left everyone impressed or speechless, especially Bobby. Even Picky, with her high standards, had to admit Dogday was some hidden culinary master.
They have an ever growing list of pet names. Whenever they go out on a long walk, Dogday insists on being called "The Dog Star" when they’re doing anything remotely adventurous, while Bobby humors him by calling herself "The Great Bear." (Its a shared interest in constellations.)
Bobby is lady like but she loves to play wrestle with any friend willing to give it a shot. She’s surprisingly strong, and most of her friends don’t stand a chance. Dogday usually taps out early, and Kickin gets tossed around. Hoppy can win on technicality because of her speed. But the one friend who can consistently beat her is Bubba, purely because of his natural strength. It’s all in good fun, but everyone knows better than to underestimate Bobby when she’s ready to throw down!
The last one is more Bobby centric but its important to note that Dogday never turns her challenges down.
And those are just some. I have more but I don't have all of them written down, heh.
I like to think Bobby is actually the more protective of the two. Like both are willing to fight for the other but one is very much a much bigger threat compared to the other.
yes i can totally see that !! i can feel like dogday believes in the best in people and doesnt want to hurt anyone ;; as for bobby, she would definitely not show it at first and stay calm, but as soon as one would insult her sunshine, she would scratch someone .
There's a couple of more headcanons that I forgot to add in the first ask so, here it is!
• Dogday LOVES when Bobby gives him chin scratches and belly rugs and calls him a "Good boy" not any sexual way or anything. just to be clear on that
• Bobby is Dogday's number one cheerleader and supporter
• Bobby may or may not be fantasizing about marrying Dogday and starting a family together
• Whenever Dogday gets hurt or sick Bobby will immediately rush to his aid
• They both love singing and dancing together
• Dogday will go out of his way and spend his money on small gifts for Bobby or make homemade gifts from hand
• Bobby keeps a small bottle of vanilla scented perfume always on her so whenever she is sad or thinking about Dogday she'll spray a little bit on herself and Dogday keeps a small vase of roses in his bedroom so when he's sad or thinking about Bobby he'll pick up a rose smell it
(it always makes them feel better)
• Whenever Bobby notices that Dogday is sad so go out of her way and surprise him with freshly baked peanut butter cookies
(watch DD's face go from 😞 to 😄 in a flash)
• They gossip about the other kids in the neighborhood
• If you looked at Dogday's photo gallery on his phone. All you would find is HUNDREDS BEYOND HUNDREDS OF PICTURES THAT ARE JUST OF BOBBY
• They call/facetime/text for HOURS
• Whenever they're at the mall and they see a photo booth they'll immediately run in and take a bunch of cute pictures together
• When Bobby has any self-doubts about her attractiveness and asks Dogday if she's unattractive, he'll stare at her with the most offended expression on his face and will on a huge rant about how she must be crazy to think that she's not attractive and goes on and on about she's the most beautiful girl in the world
• Bobby will write romantic poems for Dogday
• Whenever they're alone, Dogday will put on some old romantic songs and dance, sing, and laugh to the music
• Bobby will write a bunch of positive messages on sticky notes and cover them with pink and red hearts and S stick them all around Dogday's clubhouse for him to find
• Dogday think that Bobby's laugh is adorable and falls in love with her all over again every time he hears it
(especially whenever she's laughing at his jokes)
• Even though Dogday does call Bobby a lot of cute pet names his favorite by far as "Sweetiecub" and "Boo-Boo Bear" and Bobby's favorite pet name to call Dogday "Sunshine" and "Sunlight"
• Bobby loves to make flower-crowns for both of them
• Dogday makes cute love songs dedicated to Bobby
• Dogday will give Bobby piggy back rides and Bobby will carry Dogday bridal style

Even though I'm a Craftyday/Sun flower shipper I do really like this ship and have a couple of headcanons that I would like to share with you! :D
• Their ship name is either Sunkiss, Sunnycuddles, or Puppylove
• They have tons of sleepovers together
• Once every 2 weeks they go on a date
(It's always something really cute like- going to the museum, having a picnic, baking together, going roller skating, picking flowers, watching the fireworks together, going to the beach, going to the carnival/state fair etc..)
• Kickin and Hoppy LOVES to tease Dogday by impersonating Bobby's voice and saying things like "Oh Dogday you're so strong and handsome!" "I just wanna hug and kiss you all over!" "Carry me away your arms!" and laugh as they watched Dogday's face turns as bright as a strawberry from embarrassment
• He think that Bobby's beauty is a complete UNDERSTATEMENT. He thinks that she's the most beautiful girl in the entire world
• Despite the fact that Dogday is allergic to chocolate, that isn't stopping him from getting a box of chocolates just for her
(he usually just gives it to her while wearing gloves and a mask)
• Dogday loves to surprise Bobby by giving her a big beautiful bouquet of flowers out of nowhere
• Bobby loves to surprise Dogday by jumping out of nowhere and smothering him with kisses and hugs
• Whenever Bobby is wearing lipstick or lip gloss, she'll leave hundreds of tiny little kiss marks all over Dogday's face
• Dogday will often make heart-shaped pancakes for Bobby
• THEY CALL EACH OTHER EVERY SINGLE PET NAME IN THE BOOK.
• Their favorite activity is making friendship bracelets together
• Dogday lets Bobby do his makeup and nails
Bobby: "Hey Sunshine"
Dogday: "Yeah Babe, what's up?"
Bobby: "I have a question..."
Dogday: "Well what is it?"
Bobby: "Would you still love me if I was a worm?"
Dogday: "Uhmmm.... Yeah, sure!"
Bobby "WAIT REALLY??!!?"
Dogday: "Well yeah! I'd probably keep you in a cage for your safety and I would probably let you move around my hand"
Bobby: "YAAAY!!"
• Dogday is VERY protective of Bobby to the point where the other critters have started calling him "Bobby's guard dog" WHICH IS VERY TRUE, because whenever someone tries to be mean or belittle Bobby, he'll get all up in their face and act 10x more aggressive than they were to Bobby
• If someone makes fun of Bobby, she'll cry. BUT If someone made fun Dogday and made him cry OH MAN IT'S GOING TO BE A LIVING HELL FOR THEM. IT WOULD BE A BLOODBATH
(she wouldn't kill them. she would just give them a severe ass whooping while screaming at to never mess with Dogday ever again. (they're just both very protective of each other)
• My headcanon for Bobby is that she has separation anxiety and abandonment issues so, when Dogday found out about it PRIVACY WAS NO LONGER A THING. HE WOULD CLING ON TO HER LIKE A KOALA AND SHE LOVED IT. THEY STUCK TOGETHER LIKE SUPER GLUE, IT HONESTLY IMPRESSIVE HOW CLINGY THEY ARE
• PDA IS THEIR WHOLE THING. They'll hold hands, hug, cuddle, kiss each other, and even nuzzle their noses with 0 SHAME WHATSOEVER.
• Catnap, Bubba, and Kickin are Dogday's wingmen and Craftycorn, Picky, and Hoppy are Bobby's wingwomen
• Bobby has a A03 account and secretly writes fanfics about her and Dogday
(the only ones you know about are Crafty and Hoppy)
• Their favorite outdoor activities are going on the swings, playing tag, and playing fitch
• They have tons of karaoke nights
• They both love the fireworks but Dogday HATES how loud they are so whenever they're watching the fireworks together Bobby will cover Dogday's ears whenever a big firework is it about to explode
• They'll often play board games and video games together
Kickin: "Hey, Bubba"
*Bubba looks up from his book to see that it's Kickin*
Bubba: "Hmm? Oh hi Kickin, what's going on?"
Kickin: *point at Bobby and Dogday who are currently on the floor and look very angry while also being on the verge of tears* "What's up with them?"
Bubba: "Hmm? Them? Yeah, they just got into an argument. Don't worry about it"
Kickin: "Okay? If they just got into an argument, then why are they holding hands?"
Bubba: "Because Kickin, they get sad whenever they get into an argument"
• PDA IS WHOLE THING. They'll hold hands, hug, cuddle, kiss, they'll even nuzzle there are noses with 0 SHAME WHATSOEVER
• They're very much Barbie and Ken core
(Specifically from Life in the Dreamhouse and not the Barbie movie. if ykyk.)
• DOGDAY GIVING BOBBY PRINCESS TREATMENT👏 👏👏>>>>>>>
• Dogday is such a gentle man to Bobby like- He'll open the door, clear her chair, and just be a straight-up walking green flag
• Dogday will pick Bobby up and spin her around just like how Disney prince does to his princess
• Whenever they're apart from each other for more than 5 minutes they'll become super sad and miss each other
Bobby:*sighs* "I miss my boyfriend"
Hoppy: "OH MY GOD. BOBBY. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CAN YOU SHUT UP ABOUT DOGDAY FOR AT LEAST 1 MINUTE PLEASE??"
(don't get me wrong, Hoppy does care about her best friend's happiness however, when she hears about her talking about her boyfriend ALL THE TIME. she does get a little tired from it)
