I said I would start to tell you little stories about me, so you can get to know me better. Don't forget to tell me about you too! My full name is Gypsy Sunshine Buick. I was named after my mom's best friend, who changed her name from Jennifer to Gypsy. She and her husband Joaquim lived in a wooded gypsy truck. Also named after Ken Kesey's daughter Sunshine. My mom liked that name a lot, her mother's name was Mountain Girl, who later married Jerry Garcia. My mom used to hang out with the Greatful Dead before they got really famous. I was born in a cabin in the woods in Canada. My mom and dad built their own home on an acre of land they bought for 400 dollars. My mom used to tell me she quit the US for being persecuted by cops and after the Kennedys were assasinated. I was called Sunshine all through school. I eventually started going by Sunny because I got tired of all the questions people ask when you introduce yourself. I made this rug, a hand painted rug, it's a thing!
