Hey sunlings! Our last skin preview is a look at our mobile skin. That's right, you can do all of your rping from the comfort of your smartphone. It's also been optimized for tablet screens, too (portrait will give you the mobile layout, but landscape should give you the normal web layout)!
Not pictured is the profile, because it's hard to get screenshots of it when tumblr mobile only lets you post 10 photos at a time. But rest assured, profiles work just fine on mobile!
All mobile testing was done on an iPhone 11 running iOS 16.5 using Safari, but was cross-tested on a windows laptop using Chrome's device toggle. So there may be some differences on your devices, but they shouldn't be drastic.
Hey sunlings! For part 2 of our skin preview, here's a video walkthrough of some of Sage's favorite features. This video will hopefully help you get a feel for our forum and how it works, plus you'll get to see some cool features that aren't easily captured in photos.
Note: The profile showcased in the video is only 1 of over 70 possible layouts, which you select when editing your profile (those boxes that appear and disappear). You'll see what we mean when our application period opens, but your wildest dreams will be possible. Unfortunately, tumblr has limits on how large a video can be so we can't showcase them all here.
Because of their stony appearance and proclivity for perching on buildings, gargoyles have historically been seen as architectural design. But these creatures are so much more than just stone decoration. Guarding against evil, gargoyles act as a safeguard for any who enter its home. If crossed, or if entering their domain without invitation, they are fierce, territorial, impenetrable creatures that will rip their victims to shreds. Because of their steadfast defense, the gargoyle has become a symbol of protection, with architects creating false gargoyles to give the illusion of safety.
Abilities: dermal armor, night vision, wall crawling, extrasensory perception, stone mimicry
Weaknesses: daytime, stone form, cold blooded, alcohol, home tether
Species Upgrade: Daimon
Older and more powerful gargoyles can become a daimon, which are believed to be deities of protection and well-being. They receive the following additional skills: supernatural detection, syncognition, evil sense, lie detection, seismic sense

Hey nonny! This is a great question. We're looking to create a welcoming, relaxed community filled with writers of all activity levels. Somewhere that is safe, comfortable, and stress-free where you want to write and engage with the community at whatever level feels best to you.
As a staff team, we have plans on how to achieve this already, but it's important to us that our members want to achieve this with us. Which is what we hope our application questions help to highlight! This is kind of a big question, so if there's anything in particular you're looking for, let us know and we'll do our best to answer.
