Dungeons and Dragons characters get knocked to 0 hp and get up all the time. Which means hp doesn't equal anything like stamina or blood loss, I think the closest thing to compare it to is pain tolerance! Certainly goes along with how caleb acts when he gets hit.

I agree!! I think it’s a bit odd to measure it only by physical injury--how good you are at toughing it out makes a lot of sense and also sets you up for some wonderful “gravely-injured-but-too-determined-to-faint” scenarios.....( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I don't understand the context but i know the job thing from wrestling. a "jobber" is a wrestler who routinely loses, making the other wrestlers look good. "job" coming from since the match is predetermined, that they are coming in and doing their job by losing.

When it comes to how young Ezra was, I think about how young kanan was when he fought in the clone wars, how Hera has been implied to have been a rebel for a very long time, how Sabine is treated as a mandalorian, and I wouldn’t think it out of the picture to imagine that zeb since he was prominent in the honor guard of the royal family of his whole planet was probably was prepared from a young age for that too. They probably all see something of themselves in him.

yeah i was kinda thinking the same thing!  plus the other people in his life like rex and ahsoka are kinda in the same boat.

and like @aspiringwarriorlibrarian pointed out, ezra’s was kind of terrible and unsafe to start with, so having a support system and getting training on how to defend is way better period.
