1997 Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird
I'm finally healed enough that I can ride the Blackbird freely and not have to adapt. Was able to get out for a few hours with it today and am getting more comfortable. I'm in the habit of preferring all my cruisers but the sport bikes are growing on me. Still, there's a lot to be said about getting to ride with your head up and chest out rather than ducked down like you're ashamed. 😂😂😂 This does just fly along the highway though. I can hit 150mph like it's nothing. In fact, I have to work to avoid it.
In two weeks, we'll have our time at the race track and I want to be able to take full advantage of that opportunity. This bike was a record holder for years and I'd like to see what it can do (even with my plump ass on the seat) when I don't have to worry about speed traps and slow folks in the left lane.
