Yeah. I just finished this little fucking gem. Great read, better than the first, excellent snippets of Carlos in particular that I found interesting to learn and delightful to read. Nilanjana was a wonderful protagonist, and the regular Night Vale citizens make cameos when appropriate. Excellent book, 5/5, would recommend.

But what do you call it when you get to the end and you literally start cussing up a storm (something I never do), literally heated with rage and sweating, while also laughing? Anger joy? Rage chortle? Dead inside? I don’t know. I just know I’ve never screamed the words, “Fuck, fuck, fuck!!! Jesus Fuck! Jesus. God fucking... shit fuck... dammit. UUUUUGH!!” more often or louder at one in the morning than I did today. I can’t argue with the ending, it was a great literary choice. It works out well, and I’m pissed that I can understand and agree with that but still want to flip a table over.

Ugh. Good read. Go read it. You’ll like it. Seriously, it’s good. Jesus fuck... Dammit... It’s so good.
