Kent is thinking about his family in another country
I forgot to post anything lol, so making a big post about the cooking I've done recently!
I made Super Meal, Cranberry Candy, and Stuffing from the Stardew Valley cookbook!
The Super Meal was good! I love boy choy, so it's a nice salad with that :3 I do think the recipe calls for WAY too much rice though, I'd probably half it if I make it again. Also this was my first time working with artichokes so I don't think I peeled it quite right or something 😅 I've also heard it helps to steam them before putting them in things, rather than just baking them? So I might try that next time! The dressing was AWESOME tho, it was guac adjacent and SO GOOD!! I want to put it on everything lol.
The cranberry candy was fantastic!!! Really easy to make and it turned out delicious! I just used sparkling water instead of the sweeter cider (and/or alcoholic lol) option, and this was already so sweet I can't even imagine what it would be like even sweeter LOL. I really enjoyed it tho :3
The stuffing was also really great!!! It's completely vegetarian, which is cool, and not too hard to make! Takes a while for baking time, but since I was making the cranberry candy at the same time it timed out perfectly lol. I really enjoyed the taste too, and several of my friends who don't normally like stuffing also enjoyed it! So that one was definitely a win!!

I really liked this!! The dressing is zippy and fresh, and the little pops of sweetness from the craisins and pomegranate are great. This is my first time eating farro and I really liked it, I can see eating it a lot in the future. I would warn you that you really need to watch the artichoke. The sauce ended up burning before the artichokes got to the point described, but adding water and using the bok choy to kind of forcibly deglaze the pan got it back to a reasonable state.
