u ever think abt s2 supercorp and just like die? like here they were supposed to automatically hate each other just bc of their families and kara sees lena and she SEES her. like not as a luthor but as LENA. and she doesn’t know lena at all but when clark is still suspicious abt her kara says “i don’t know i think i believe her.” and kara gets to know lena as lena and she grows to genuinely love her for her and no matter what anyone says or anything that might prove her otherwise she defends lena bc she can see that she isn’t just a luthor and that’s why she LOVES her bc lena is strong and selfless and so desperately wants to be good and that’s nothing like a luthor at all and she doesn’t understand why everyone else can’t see that bc it’s so obvious to her. and that’s bc lena lets herself be vulnerable for the first time w kara and she puts up no front for her bc she loves her too and knows kara loves her in return....like wow.....just WOW. what a love story.
