sorry to all my fans for neglecting my tumblr i have been pulling a double shift between studying for the bar and watching big brother live feeds so i do not have any space in my brain for the thoughts that lead me to make a tumblr post. i am taking the bar in 10 days and i am basically brain dead at this point from doing 300 hrs of studying since the end of may i can barely put a thought together that is not smth along the lines of [trauma dumping legal jargon]

#michelle speaks #smth will happen and i will start spewing some legal rules and my mom laughs at me….she laughs….#i wake up so early every day to have enough time to study i am like so tired that i get to points where i physically cannot stay awake #like it is so bad………my body fr thinks we are in warlike conditions i am not even joking 😭#my period usually starts slow af and edges me for several days this time it was like hm my period might start next day i am gushing blood 😭#but anyway. at least the live feeds are great! literally only got 1 hr of studying done yesterday bc it was like one of the best day of #live feeds i have ever gotten to personally experience and i had to clock in for that #i legit woke up at 7am yesterday to take my ritalin and the houseguests were still awake and doing the most insane shit i had to pull up #the feeds instead of going back to sleep and then like right when i’m starting to study they woke them up and they were immediately being #insane again so 😭 and i was already 10 hrs behind so now i’m back up to 14 hrs 😭#it’s ok i don’t think they will be so insane today……plus they will be playing veto so the feeds will be down for a long time 👍#god i love big brother……truly the highlight of my yr. nothing brings me similar joy.#what other show can you watch ppl live unedited being insane…..what other show can you have live drama at 7am for…….#ppl who watch bb and don’t watch the live feeds i cannot understand it like you are missing the point. it is the best show ever & you don’t #even know bc you are not watching what makes it so good…..#that’s why it pmo sometimes when my mom won’t watch the live feeds i’m like? why are you just looking at the updates when you can #experience it urself? yesterday i went to fill in my mom abt what happened yesterday morning & as i was doing it they were getting up #and there was drama going on and i was like hold on and had the feeds playing and my mom and i were sitting there like 👁️👁️ for 40 mins #she was literally like nervous and biting her nails watching the feeds i’m like 😭 and you can experience this 24/7* if you so chose……#*this is a myth they cut the feeds an annoying amount however in spirit it is 24/7 #let me clarify that my mom HAS watched the live feeds and is not a casual it just bothers me that she doesn’t watch them MORE. the only #time she has so far was when i put them on yesterday but i’m like why do you not want to watch more….idgi #big brother is trulyyyyy the only thing getting me through this last stretch of bar prep i was dead in the water at the beginning of july #and yesterday revitalized me so much…….hopefully i can catch up a lot today but i didn’t get much sleep tbh 😭#well i can go back to sleep now for a little longer so! goodbye j will prob be gone for a while or maybe not 👍#but i did not even attempt to explain what happened yesterday bc it would be impossible to do so in 30 tumblr tags alone lmfao. just know #it was incredible and it brought be the closest i could ever be to experiencing what it would be like to not have depression…….#let’s just say i love to see a man LOSE and experience an earth shattering ego death in real time……#sorry make that multiple men actually!!!! lmaooooo

obvs i have been waiting on the big supreme court cases to drop and while i am glad that the birthright citizenship case came out how it did bc it is quite literally written in the 14th amendment that there is birthright citizenship it does deeply deeply bother me that 3 of the justices (i say 3 bc kavanaugh concurred in judgement even tho he dissented in part so he ultimately did agree that birthright citizenship should be upheld that is not me giving him a pat on the back btw it is just relevant to my point) dissented in that judgement considering the fact that it is a blatant plain meaning of the 14th amendment. how is alito going to say that we cannot read abortion into the constitution not even as an equal protection issue bc when the 14th amendment was written there was no history & tradition of abortion being legal but he is going to look us all in the face and say well it would be ok to strike birthright citizenship even though the 14th amendment explicitly states “all persons born or naturalized in the us” i’m sorry do we not see the text “all” w 0 exceptions whatsoever? suddenly we are no longer interested in textualism or original meaning? very convenient how it no longer applies when you want to promote your political agenda. if the writers of the 14th amendment wanted to exclude certain ppl from birthright citizenship they would have done so by not saying “all people.” they can write as long of dissents as they want but this does not negate the fact that whatever they claim to justify their dissents is not included in the original text of the 14th amendment which is exactly what they argued abt abortion lmfao. it concerns me bc i am so sick of the blatant political influence on the court. this is a non issue. this should have been a unanimous opinion full stop. the thing is that when you see liberal justices making politicized decisions it is always abt interpreting the constitution to better encompass the rights of ppl who were not considered at the time when the constitution or its amendments were made and applying the principals in the constitution to our modern concepts of society. whereas conservatives are always trying to draw back ppl’s rights and to even go so far as to try to see how much they can wiggle around constitutional rights to promote their agendas. it is similar to how in texas they have passed rules in the school board to include bible passages as part of the curriculum which is a blatant violation of the first amendment’s establishment clause. literally claiming that the bible is fundamentally tied to american history like fuck off. it is so ridiculous. terrible behavior from politicians but justices on the supreme court having such blatant disrespect for not only the constitution but the citizens of the country that they are meant to serve (even if they are children of immigrants what a terrible thought! 🙄) is truly a disgusting abuse of power. we are honestly in dire times when the high court that is supposed to be unbiased cannot set aside its political ties for common sense. it is embarrassing. trump and his cronies can claim all they want to be protecting and celebrating america but the founding fathers (and i say this w no love to them trust you will not catch me behaving like they wrote the constitution w divine intervention like some ppl) would be ashamed of the state of american “democracy” today. the irony of a man who wishes to be king being the president during the 250 yr celebration of the us as a “free” country is not lost on me!!!
