So it was like that. When the news about the australian giveaway appeared we were at the gig in Warsaw. By the time I came back home the next day it was already known that the contest was for Australian residents only and many of you were seriously pissed since you had entered the competition. No wonder, really.
But, I went to that page anyway and browsed through the comments (because it was through the comments how one could enter the competition). And I looked at them, and went "I know her, I know her, she's from Germany, she's from Russia, she's from there, and she's from somewhere else..." I saw that there was only a handful of people who were actually from Australia. And I thought that I really really wanted this box.
And then I thought "dude, you've got a family in Australia, and you mail with them sometimes". So I wrote to them, and asked if they could enter on my behalf, and they went yeah sure no problem.
And bang, they won. Yes, they. Plural. Because two people entered for me, and... They. Both. Won. But it wasn't the end. The boxes were still on the other side of the world. And, if that wasn't enough, one of them went fucking astray at the post office and never reached my family, so they had to contact that webpage that organized it and they sent another one (bless). So that was one reason why it took so freaking long. Then they were supposed to send me these, they said like "yeah, we will send them next week". Aaand that was by the end of May or so. By the end of June I still didn't have the boxes, but they wrote an email that they would be coming to Poland soon (well, one of the families, actually). And I suspected that either post office fucked up royally or they would bring me the boxes themselves. I didn't dare to ask. But I was right, they brought them! :D So yes, one is mine, and the other belongs to one of you :)
