Been watching alot of Yu-Gi-Oh content and I decided to come up with the idea of an anime character for my favorite archetype of Yu-Gi-Oh, the super heavy samurai
His outfit would effectively be a closet cosplay of a samurai and he would work for the season's big bad with 2-3 other villains, each have their own reason to work for them but he does it because they saved his life
There is something the protagonist needs that has been split between the minions and they fight him 2nd, the 1st was very underhanded and refused to give them it even after they made a deal so they expect the same from him.
When they fight he offers that they play a match with the mcguffins as ante, during the duel he talks about strategy/honor (the healthy kind not the zuko kind) and throws in a few sun-tzu quotes, and when asked why he doesn't use spell/trap cards (a major part of the archetype) he explains that he's doing it to weaken him self so he can have a fair fight, after the duel when he loses he hands over the mcguffen and complements the protag's skills, and is surprised/slightly offended when they say they expected him to not hand it over
Later he returns in the season climax and when he fully understands the big bar's evil he commits sepuku to restore his honor, (in the dub he falls to his knees and prays to Jesus Christ instead) but this convinces one of the other Hench men to help the protags
He is also given an extremely over the top Japanese accent in the dub
