Nodding proudly at the hard-won lesson that Nia had come to, Kara looked out across the cityscape that Catco gave them access to.  “And that’s what we have to teach people.  Every day.  We protect them and we hope that that will teach them, that they know that the good will outweigh any bad.  That love will outweigh the hate.”  She smiled slightly.

Felicity was reading when William had edged into her room and she nodded immediately.  “Yeah, bud, come on.”  She scooched over and held the edge of the blanket up for him.  “Are you feeling okay?”  She held her palm to his forehead for a moment.

She and Don had gone over the rules at least six times before she entered the speed force. Stay out of sight. Work behind the scenes. No direct contact. And never, under any circumstance, tell anyone who she was. She was about to break two of those. And not in a small way.

She had already made contact with Cisco. At the coffee shop. Not like in a major way. She had just...paid for his coffee. Like she would for anyone who found themselves in a jam or without their wallet. The fact that this particular person happened to be her dad’s best friend and her uncle...

Walking into the main part of Star Labs, she looked to where Cisco was working on...something.
