1. If you’d have to choose a country in which you’d have to live for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
Finland. I really can't think of a reason why not to stay here for the rest of my life, except for maybe variation. And I'd still get to travel!
2. What is your favourite time of year and why?
All the seasons! The thing about seasons to me is that they change; I always seem to wait for the next one. In the spring I love the awakening of nature, in summer the warmth, in autumn the colours of the leaves and in the winter the snow! It'd be strange to live in a country without four seasons.
4. Which do you find more terrifying: the idea that there are aliens or that there aren’t aliens?
That there aren't. I've always found it natural that there is life on other planets - the universe is so big! It's another thing if we ever find aliens or if they find us. I think we're better off without contacting them, it would just lead to history repeating itself.
5. Do you have/have you had any hobbies that helped you overcome some difficulties or helped you grow as a person?
I wouldn't say so. I really enjoy music and arts but if I have difficulties they serve more as a distraction than a cure. Music still helps me relieve stress and that could be seen as a difficulty? On the other hand, I think most of the things we do help us grow and see things differently.
6. With whom do you feel most yourself?
My older younger sister. She is the one person I can reveal everything to and be with without any pressure. For instance, I can just sit with her, totally quiet, and it doesn't get awkward at all. She knows me so well I can't even think of pretending to be someone else than I really am.
7. What is your favourite song at the moment?
Defying Gravity. It's just overwhelming and so inspiring.
8. Is there something you tell yourself when you feel burnt out or feel like you can’t go on?
I haven't thought of this before, and I'd have to answer no. I try to split my burdens into smaller pieces and divide them to prevent myself from falling into despair.
9. If you could have any flavour of icecream right now, what flavour would you choose?
Pear. I haven't had it in ages and it's so tasty!
10. Have you had any near death experiences?
Well I once was a few decimeters away from being overrun by a car thanks to the aforementioned sister, but I don't think so. I've never even slept a night in a hospital.
11. What languages can you speak?
Swedish and Finnish as my mother tongue, English fluently, I've studied Russian for seven years. My Swedish also gives me adequate understanding to Danish and Norweigan. I knew how to speak Estonian when I was eight, but I guess that doesn't count.
