Superman’s Best Friend
Just an old piece I did of Henry Cavill’s Superman walking his version of Krypto (Based here off of his IRL dog Kal) on a morning stroll in the clouds.
As much as I’m looking forward to Corwenset’s Superman, Henry’s version will always be one of the best in my eyes.

Does J. J. Abrams HAVE to be involved with the new Superman movie tough? I’m worried he may take too much “inspiration” from the Richard Donner films like his Star Wars movies took too much from the original trilogy. We already got Superman Returns.
I know the movie is expected to have a black lead starring as the Calvin Ellis version of the character, wich should change things, but I’m reminded of how the Supergirl series, with a female lead, leaned too much on Superman’s mythos and his movies rather than on HER own mythos. This new movie NEEDS to be more than “the 70s movie but with a black Superman”.
