now he’s throwing a proper tantrum , fists shaking in the air and stomping his little paws on car’s flooring . he worked so hard to set up this snow fort in world 3 , and here came mario , stamping it out under his jump ! his anger would’ve been more credible if it weren’t for the fact his little fire - breath outburst loosened a pile of snow from an overhanging tree branch , that which tumbles and buries him and clown car alike under its snowy weight .
legs flail until junior manages to scoop his way out with a kitten sneeze ailing his now frozen self ; koopas weren’t built for cold environments , yet junior refused to wear his winter garments out of spite . ( looks like he’s paying the price now . . . ) “ i’m FINE , flower - breath ! ” it wasn’t fair how mario was already under the hot - bellied influence and warm protection of a fire flower . junior swipes one of his claws at mario if he tries to reach out to aid koopaling , turning his shelled back to previously truced partner from prior adventure’s CAT - tastrophe .
( he still owes mario a proper ‘ thank you ’ for rescuing his father from his stupid prank - gone - wrong . )
