Ok let’s talk about Merlin

Now I haven’t watched Merlin in a while so don’t attack me if I get something wrong, ok but I was thinking about there ages.

Ok so aurthur is older then Merlin right and I’ve been doing the maths and he must have been at least three when Merlin was born, because there was the ban on magic and the thing with the dragons. After balinor fled he must have gone from place to place before he got to Ealdor and I’m figuring he must’ve been there a while for Merlin to be conceived hunith seems like the buy me dinner first kinda gal, and when the knights got there she couldn’t have been showing as balinor didn’t seem to know about Merlin.

We also know that when Merlin and Arthur first met Arthur wasn’t of age and I’m guessing the coming of age was 17 which he did kinda with the whole black night which means that Merlin was around 14 in the first season. Which adds up with the whole boy to man thing. Now the amount of time between seasons is a bit hard to tell but i think the 5 seasons took place over 7 years which means that he would have been around 21 in the last season.

This means that Arthur died at 24 and Merlin lost everything at 21 meaning his entire exsistance was just ruined. And it seemed that he stayed a way from Camelot after that which means he lost all his friends family anything he’d ever know and he’d only really just become an adult. Arthur didn’t even make it to 25.

Anyway so I cried a bit have fun with this realisation
