Swipe 👈 Which tooth is real? Perhaps the most challenging thing in dentistry is to color match single teeth in the front. Sending a picture to the lab to characterize veneers/crowns is not so simple because no two pictures will produce the same exact color. Even so, each monitor will render color differently. The solution to this obstacle, is to calibrate your monitor to your lab’s monitor color profile, and to color correct the images your camera captures before sending them to the lab. In this case, the images were taken in RAW format and the white balance was set using the grey card in the photo. The luminosity value (observed in the histogram) was adjusted via the exposure slider to the known value of the grey card = 79. Now the lab can follow the same protocol and digitally check the restorations for their color accuracy in matching that of your patient’s. . . . #shadematching #colormatch #dreamsmile #cosmeticveneers #veneers #smilemakeover #beverlyhillsdentist #supermodelconfidence #socialsix #cosmeticdentistry #confidence #World_smiles_club #bitecamp #celebritydentist #aestheticdentist #cosmeticdentist #culvercitydentist #stomgo #powerofporcelain #dentistry_forum #vibrantnaturalsmile (at Picasso Smiles Dental Cosmetic & Implant Center)
