James, raises hand: Professor, my dog ate my homework.
Mcgonagal: I do not recall you having a dog, Mr Potter.
Sirius, wiping his tounge: Damn right he doesn’t have one, after this. Parchment tastes awful!

22 days at home ! And still counting!
Yes I am a struggling working mum.
With some undone work,over stressful.
With no plans and nothing except routine.
Chapeau for the mum out there.
No one will understand unless they have children who needs 24 hours entertainment.
The last thing we need is some sarcastic comments and underestimating our fatigue.
No it's not easy but only good memories will remain hopefully.

Hi. Sorry for my bad English but I'still learning.
I just wanna tell u what’s appended to me. Today I was in hospital with my grandma and my mum and a man came to me and asked me if I had a boyfriend. I said no, I’ve a girlfriend. And he starts to acts crazy, he asked if I was joking, what is the meaning of my worlds, if I was a man and so on. I was trying to answer in a polite way but my mum anticipated me and says to him ” I am her mother, it's ok for me and that's enough.” I literally almost cried. Thank mum you saved my day.
Baby Brain?
People have the audacity to act as if women who have had children are second class citizens suffering from ‘baby brain’, barely fit to re-enter the workplace (if they wish to). If baby brain exists, it’s a SUPERPOWER 🦸🏻♀️
Having a child makes you blindingly good at multi tasking, prioritisation, operating on very little sleep, money management, research skills, project management, planning and organisation. Also, pretty darned fit because you’re constantly running around after your offspring, lifting them, soothing them and walking or rocking them to sleep. You also walk extremely fast because children take hours to herd out the door- maybe we should add ‘working to deadlines under time pressure’ to that list.
Parenting requires perseverance, determination, kindness, first aid skills, event planning, nutritional knowledge, chef skills, time management, the ability to work as a physical trainer/yogi/masseuse/mindfulness educator/life coach, counselling skills, the ability to find educational opportunities in everything you do- and the patience of a saint!
So basically being a mum makes you super human. And we have the audacity to ask for some flexibility in the workplace! Too right we do. Because we’re your greatest asset 👊🏼

Season 4 Finale SPOILER
Season 4 wraps up with Red Kara threatening Midvale. Then Eliza bakes her a pie and tells her to make better life choices.
Yes, that’s me ‘#SuperMum’ and I wore my #cape with pride today💪🏾💫❤️. Finished a 10hour night shift, finished preparing the girls for school/nursery and dropped them both off #ONTIME 🙌🏾⏰😉. Slept for 2hours, attended GP appointment, attended clinic appointment for a smear test, done the school/nursery run IN THE RAIN 🌧😫. We then had to park the car and hop on the train due to lack of parking at next destination. Got the girls a hot snack, then got my eldest to her casting/audition ON time ✨⏰before heading home to sort out dinner. Fed children, read bedtime story - fell asleep whilst reading said bedtime story lol🤦🏾♀️-. I then jumped up as I remembered I had put the washing machine on; of which was also washing small feet’s princess doll, that had fell in the road/rain during our mini sightseeing tour on our way back to the train station. —————————————- DID I FORGET ANYTHING 🤷🏾♀️ —————————————- Lord knows I am officially cream-crackered BUT I am crocheting 👀, nothing big (she says) just a small something something while I wait for the dryer to stop. I refuse to go through 3 year old temper tantrums in the morning because princess doll wants to go to nursery but is still wet 🤦🏾♀️😢 - How Could She Miss A Day 🙄😅.... It is a good thing this is my #HappyPlace ☺️🧶👌🏾🥰. _________________________________ Check out our amazing pics we took whilst on route. _________________________________ #mum #superwoman💪 #mummyandme #sisters #school #nursery #carer #healthcare #smallbusiness #shorditchstreetart #nationalrail #londonunderground #victorialine #gp #womenshealth #rainyday #sightseeing #ford #congestioncharge 🚫 #ULEZ ✅ #life #justanotherdayinthelife #mumsofinsta #mumsinbusiness https://www.instagram.com/p/Byi3ynaBwVw/?igshid=15fcqmd3tidwy
