so when are we going to talk about how the majority of the Dean Parallel (or even just dean centric) characters are queer women? claire and charlie immediately come to mind as the most obvious and pertinent ones. dean’s best friend in the world is a lesbian woman. the girl who is a parallel to him in almost every way possible is a lesbian woman. even jody and donna, who are huge figures in his life, have a strong case of being queer-coded (two women who are LITERAL partners. who have the classic Dead Husband and Bad Husband tropes and never remarry a man). this can’t be a coincidence, right? that queer women flock to him like that? it could be another parallel or if you want it could simply just be that he’s a safe haven for these people to be themselves unapologetically and know they will be loved fully without question. i don’t know where i’m going with this it just makes me crazy that he’s surrounded by gay women.

being a supernatural fan especially after the finale is like what i imagine being an opium addict was like. we’re all just hanging around in our den out of our minds, but occasionally i’ll have these like. little moments of lucidity where i look at myself and say ‘what the hell is WRONG with you?? is this really how you want to live your life? letting THIS consume you???’ and then i see another they were in love here and well. you can check out but you can never leave i guess

Out of all the problems with the finale, I think the one that bothers me the most is that the Dean Winchester—who has been hunting his entire life, who has gone up against every monster there is, who has survived apocalypses, who literally went to hell and back, who finally overcame Chuck, the biggest villain in his life, and was finally free to live whatever life he wanted—was defeated by a nail. And it happened right after he had gotten free. He got pushed into a nail in a barn by a vampire, who I didn’t even think was supposed to be there anyway after Jack had supposedly fixed the world?? And obviously, I didn’t want Dean to die at all, but I might have been okay with it if they had changed how he died. If he had died saving the world or sacrificing himself for Sam, then it would have actually had purpose. It would have meant something. But having him die from something as random and pathetic as a nail was pointless, not to mention completely disrespectful to his character, and I refuse to accept that that was how Dean Winchester died.
