For the 'what character would I be in an anime' question, it would depend on what anime. For example, you're already the main character in Genshiken. By extension, you're already the love interest in Genshiken 2. You could definitely be the side character in just about any show that requires a nerd to explain the action while it is going on. I literally cannot imagine a single anime in which you'd be the villain.

I agree with all of this except the villain thing. I COULD TOTALLY BE THE VILLAIN IN LIKE Daimao or Devil is a part timer. Or some other anti-hero show. But villian. me. yes.
