Why had Nick insisted on going with Claire this time? The goddamn thing had nearly fucking killed him before she saved him. For some reason the ghost decided to chill out after being hit with iron four times. Offered it’s help to find the real problem they were looking for.
Nick was just thinking. My hero. Because he didn’t have to really be all that close to the thing anymore. Thank god for Claire, right? Thank god someone besides me can be a bad ass. Because really Nick was just a scaredy-cat in these situations.
He should have stayed at the hotel.
He should have realized she could hold her own, and that he could hardly deal with ghosts. They gave him a case of the heebs and the jeebs. Actually… they scared the actual fuck out of him. Especially when they could have killed him. But he couldn’t let anyone know that. If Claire could handle it, then he’d pretend he could.

At least this ghost was okay. For now. It was either that or it was leading them to their deaths. He wouldn’t be surprised.
Claire was holding out the iron rod and threatening the thing if it didn’t keep it’s promise. Threatening that she would ‘exorcise it’s ghost ass’ otherwise. It got the memo.
