Music Recognition

Back in June 2007, I recorded a song called “Nintendo” with No23 Recorder but didn’t save any ID3 tags or anything else with it.

Today I wanted to look up who the artist of said song is and searched for music recognition online. I found this website which lets you stream your audio file to it and then it tries to recognize title and artist. I did it and... it fucking worked!! I have finally found the original artist and video after so many years!

Make sure to have your recording audio device set to “stereomix” and allow your browser to access your stereomix. Then play the song and hit the record button. After a few seconds, a result should be shown.

I’m gonna try to recognize more songs of which I don’t know the artist of! Regarding that Nintendo song, no idea why it’s called like that and why I recorded it back then. I remember that one of my former classmates mentioned that there is a singer called “Nintendo” and I probably looked that up and found that song. Kinda sounds like porn music tbh...
