If you want a fun animated show with a great mix of silly humor, cool fight scenes and an enormous cast of unique characters, you should really give netflix’s Carmen Sandiego a try !
(( I just wanna say that the original versions of Carmen Sandiego aren’t very well-known where I’m from so I’m only judging the show on its own))
Young superthief is actually a hero that fights against a mondial evil organization unknown by anyone but her, by stealing things before they can and then giving them back, without asking any credit for it. However, her ties to the villains may be deeper than what meets the eye…
The show is just very well-made all around. The heists are always interesting, from the items being stolen to the consequences. You learn a lot each episode about a country’s culture. The different organizations are pretty realistic for a kid’s cartoon. Like I said, there are A LOT of characters and I think they all have their own presence and they each take just enough space. There’s enough personality in this show’s characters to knock you out. They come from all around the world and have all kinds of backgrounds. If you really like villains (specifically the very cartoonish ones) you’ll absolutely love this show. The relationships between the characters feel very real and you can tell a lot of thought was put into them. The plot lines are carefully put together in a way that surprised me on my first watch. They’re not particularly complicated, they’re just.. good. The animation is super pretty, the character design is brilliant, the fight scenes are amazing.
I’m sure there are many other good things about this show that I’ve failed to mention, but when you love a show so much it’s hard to say what’s good about it without going too much in depth. Anyways check it out I spend my days dreaming this fandom would have more people !! T-T Carmen Sandiego fans where in the world are you ??
