Wait, what was the Lin in SuoerWhoLinLock? I know SuperWhoLock, everyone knows SuperWhoLock, but what was the Lin? Google turns up nothing.
Lin is Merlin, as in the BBC show. I was never an avid watcher, but I know a lot of Supernatural fans really enjoyed it and it’s spawned some great fan works.
Super = Supernatural (CW series, 2005 - 2020)
Who = Doctor Who (BBC series, 1963 - present)
Lin = Merlin (BBC series, 2008 - 2012)
Lock = Sherlock (BBC series, 2010 - ???)
It only crept into the RP because it’s a universe extremely well-suited for RPs: it has complex politics, magic just vague enough to drive any plot device, questing subplots that take characters away for months as needed, and enough sword-and-sorcery tropes to fill a D&D manual.
