#paraboot is one of the most underrated & undercelebrated historic French shoe brands. Their French-sourced Alsatian-tanned leathers are among the most robust in the market. Paraboot has always built the brand narrative on durability, in particular on their #suportlo (‘supporte l’eau’) oily leather norwegians, a great shoe for heavy weather. I really like this model Beaumont in pebble grain and wool, which has the sleekest elegant last, plus a nice long stitch on the split-toe. Thanks to @quenteu for encouraging me to give Paraboot a second look — they are at least as good as #heschung, if not better, while pricing €100 less than the model Ginkgo.
