CBS has announced that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end in May 2026, bringing the show’s historic run—and the Late Show franchise
This totally happened bc of the recent video of him condemning Paramount for their 60 Minutes deal with The Trump Administration which is seen by many as a bribe so that Paramount can use it to make their merger deal with Skydance. This is low and cowardly, even for Paramount.
I’m not a huge fan of the show but I do enjoy it from time to time and I love that Colbert sees that Ai is not as good as real people doing art, good to hear that from him. This sucks.
This is even worse bc his recently got an Emmy nomination. I hope he wins he deserves better than this.
